Daily oral Dimethandrolone Undecanote (DMAU) is a formulation that aims to become the first male birth control pill. Its active ingredient, DMAU, is hydrolyzed to DMA, a novel derivative of 19-nortestosterone that binds to both the androgen and the progesterone receptors, making it an attractive candidate as a single-agent male contraceptive.
